About Us
Founded in 2010 by Destiney Bleu, d.bleu.dazzled specializes in custom crystallized hosiery, lingerie, swim, athleisure and performance wear. Ms. Bleu aims to bridge the stage to the street and wants everyone she dazzles to look and feel like a superstar. We believe “Shine Never Goes Out Of Style”.
Born and raised in Lorain Ohio, Destiney Bleu discovered her passion for dance + costume design at the age of 3. She attended the University of Cincinnati where she earned a B.A. in Communications and was a member of the cheerleading and dance team. After college she took her talents to the NBA and NFL working with the Chicago Luvabulls, Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, Atlanta Hawks A-Town dancers and internationally with the Tokyo Girls. In addition to dancing, Ms. Bleu has worked as a sports + entertainment writer and developed "Center Court Fitness" a dance class based on NBA and NFL choreography which has been taught internationally.
d.bleu.dazzled is a fan favorite amongst Hollywood "it" girls like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, J.Lo, Meg Thee Stallion, Lizzo and beyond. Stylists and performers love our signature skin-tone matching and the quality and longevity our designs provide.
Most recently, d.bleu.dazzled collaborated with shop.beyonce for the "act 1 Renaissance" album merchandise and Beyonce wore the dazzle on the Renaissance World Tour. You may have also seen our work in Disney+ "Black Is King" or our collaboration with Gucci x Dapper Dan for the "Met Gala". Other place our work has been featured: VOGUE, Cosmopolitan, L’Officiel, Harpers Bazaar, CR Fashion Book, NYLON, ELLE, PAPER, V Magazine and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition to name a few.
In addition to design, Ms. Bleu has been an advocate for small designers fighting to protect their intellectual property. She has created "The Law of Art" to empower independent designers. Her ultimate goal is to do creative consulting for other brands and hopes to mentor artists.
