About Us

Born and raised in Lorain Ohio, Destiney Bleu discovered her passion for dance + costume design at the age of 3. She attended the University of Cincinnati where she earned her B.A. in Communications and was a cheerleader and member of the dance team. After college she took her talents to the NBA and NFL working with the Chicago Luvabulls, Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, Atlanta Hawks A-Town dancers and internationally with the Tokyo Girls. In addition to dancing, Ms. Bleu worked as a sports | entertainment writer covering events like NBA All Star Weekend & The World Series of Poker. She also developed "Center Court Fitness" a class based on NBA and NFL choreography and has taught workshops nationally and internationally.

After moving to LA, Ms. Bleu also took advantage of her diverse skill set working as a dancer, choreographer, and model. She’s graced the stage of the BET Awards, worked on music videos with Frank Ocean, J Cole, and Hollywood Undead and can be seen in ad campaigns for Russell Athletic Wear and Power Systems.

When she's not dancing-she's creating. Ms. Bleu is the founder of d.bleu.dazzled which specializes in custom crystallized hosiery, lingerie, and performance wear. Growing up a dancer the only place to get custom dazzle was to pay crazy prices or buy it from a costume catalog. She aims to bridge the stage to the street so that every woman feels as though she’s a superstar and believes “Shine Never Goes Out Of Style”.

The company has dazzled clients such as Beyoncé and The Formation Tour, Lady Gaga, Shania Twain, Cardi B's Grammys "Money" performance and her collaboration with Gucci + Dapper Dan for the "Met Gala'. The dazzle has also been featured on shows such as Fox’s "Empire" and "Star" in magazines like Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, CR Fashion Book and on the cover of Vogue Portugal.

Ms. Bleu’s ultimate goal is to do creative consulting for the entertainment industry, and the NBA/NFL as well as mentoring young female artists so they can learn the importance of being well rounded so they can mold their own destiny.
