Born and raised in a small town in Ohio, Destiney Bleu discovered her passion for dance + costume design at the age of 3.  Founded out of her kitchen in her LA apartment in 2011, Ms. Bleu used an iPhone and her sparkly dancer legs to start a side hustle, known as d.bleu.dazzled, to keep cash flowing in between gigs.

Ms.Bleu attended the University of Cincinnati where she earned a B.A. in Communications and was a member of the cheerleading and dance team. After college, she took her talents to the NBA and NFL dancing for the Chicago Luvabulls, Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, Atlanta Hawks A-Town dancers and internationally with the Tokyo Girls. In addition to performing, Ms. Bleu has worked as a sports + entertainment writer and developed "Center Court Fitness" a dance class based on NBA and NFL choreography.

d.bleu.dazzled is a fan favorite amongst Hollywood "it" girls like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kylie Jenner, J.Lo, Meg Thee Stallion, Mariah Carey and Shania Twain to name a few. 

Wardrobe stylists, performers and the everyday woman love our signature skin-tone matching and the quality and longevity our designs provide. Ms. Bleu’s experience in the entertainment industry has given her a creative, competitive edge and a rare perspective into the world of hosiery and performance wear. Our crystal tights and lingerie collections have breathed new life into old trends, creating new a staple in the entertainment industry. 

In the fashion space, the dazzle can be seen in holiday campaigns for Swarovski and Victoria’s Secret, both featuring Bella Hadid. We’ve collaborated with Gucci x Dapper Dan for the "Met Gala” and our work is featured in countless magazines like VOGUE, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, NYLON, and Sports Illustrated.

In the entertainment space, our team has dazzled over 30 tours and costumed 100s of live shows, including Usher’s Super Bowl performance. Ms. Bleu has designed for Beyoncé and her dancers for the last decade; dazzling every era since 2015, including Emmy winning costumes in Disney+ "Black Is King”.

Ms. Bleu is building a legacy by empowering others to shine. The Dazzle Academy, started in 2025, is a series of courses with the intention of building a crystal community. Encouraging the culture of connection by gathering around the table to craft, making magic in real time.
